A mini tour for first-timers
If you have never been on Lake Norman and have no idea what to do, say so. Our captains routinely build a mini tour — shoreline history, the big houses, the best swimming coves — and then anchor somewhere the kids can jump in safely.

Do we need boating experience or a license?
No. Every H2Overboard charter includes a licensed captain who handles the driving, anchoring and safety. Because you are not operating the vessel, North Carolina boater education requirements do not apply to you.
Is tubing included?
Yes — both the 2021 and 2023 Princecraft Vectra tritoons include a tube and floats at no extra charge. Just let us know your riders’ ages so the captain can pick the right water.
Can you pick us up at our lake house?
Often, yes. The tritoons can board guests directly from private docks and short-term rentals around the lake. Mention your address when you request a date and we will confirm whether it works.
What should we bring for a family day?
Food, drinks, sunscreen, towels and a playlist. We supply life jackets, floats, the tube and all safety gear. No glass bottles, please.
