A birthday party where the parents relax too
The waterslide runs all afternoon without any adult supervision required at the top of a ladder — the captain keeps watch on the water while you sit down. One family with six kids aged four to eight told us the slide and water mat "kept us entertained for hours." Life jackets are provided for every guest.
Lunch happens on the lake, not back at the dock
The Double Decker carries an onboard grill and a refrigerator, so you can cook out mid-lake instead of cutting the day short. Bring the cake — we will find you a calm cove to light the candles in.

It is one of the best things you can do with kids on Lake Norman. The waterslide and giant lily pad float keep them busy for hours, life jackets are provided for everyone, and a professional captain is watching the water the entire time.
How long should we book for a birthday party?
Four hours is enough for one cove and plenty of slide time. Six hours is the most popular choice and lets you add a sandbar stop and a grill-out. Eight hours turns it into a full sunrise-to-sunset lake day.
