Bachelorette Boat Rentals on Lake Norman

Lake Norman has quietly become the bachelorette capital of the Charlotte area — and more of those parties happen on our boats than anywhere else in our booking history. Bachelorettes are the single most common occasion in our 226 guest reviews, which means we have the thing that actually matters for a bride weekend: a crew that has run this exact day hundreds of times.

Why a captained charter beats a self-drive rental for a bachelorette

With a self-drive rental, one member of the party spends the whole day sober at the helm, navigating unfamiliar water and stressing about docking. On a captained charter nobody in your group is responsible for anything. Your captain handles the driving, the anchoring, the cove selection, and the safety briefing — so the maid of honor gets to actually attend the party she planned.

The bride gets the boat decorated — and a photo shoot she did not pay for

Mention the occasion when you book and the crew decorates the boat before you board. Heath also flies a drone on most trips and sends the aerial shots afterward at no charge, which reliably becomes the best content of the entire weekend. As one bride put it: "He even flew a drone and captured amazing photos of all of us in the water, which was such a fun bonus."

Built for the group photo everyone posts

The Double Decker has a two-story sun deck and a waterslide off the top — the shot every bachelorette group ends up recreating. Add the giant lily pad float, a Bluetooth sound system for your playlist, an onboard grill, and yes, a karaoke mic if you ask for it.

Coming in from Charlotte or staying in an Airbnb?

Lake Norman is about 45 minutes north of Uptown Charlotte, and we can pick you up right at your dock. One group even had the captain swing back by their cabin mid-trip to restock drinks.

Questions people ask

How many people can come on a bachelorette boat charter?

The Double Decker holds up to 12 guests and the tritoons hold up to 9. For larger parties we can arrange a second boat and captain so the group travels together — one guest booked two of our boats for a combined bachelor and bachelorette party.

Can we bring alcohol on the boat?

Yes. Guests bring their own food and drinks. The only rule is no glass bottles — repackage anything glass into plastic before boarding. Because every charter is captained, nobody in your group needs to stay sober to drive.

How far in advance should we book a bachelorette date?

Summer Saturdays book out first, often weeks ahead. If your weekend is set, request the date as early as you can — cancellation is free up to two days before the trip, so there is no downside to locking it in.

How much does a bachelorette boat rental on Lake Norman cost?

Charters are priced hourly and vary by date, season and boat, with a licensed captain always included — no separate captain fee at checkout. The Double Decker has a 4-hour minimum; both tritoons have a 3-hour minimum. Live pricing for your specific date is shown when you request a booking.
